Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the main branches of traditional Chinese medicine and involves insertion of fine needles in to the skin and their stimulation at specific points on the body to treat various physical and mental conditions.
The latest scientific knowledge recognises that acupuncture affects our central nervous system to restore homoeostasis (internal balance). Acupuncture also reduces pain and inflammation by stimulating body's own anti-inflammatory and pain-killing mechanism, therefore it is excellent for conditions, such as arthritis.
